Choosing the Best
Bright Star Model
for Your System

Bright Star Audio manufacturers the most comprehensive vibration control products in the industry and we have the perfect one (or more!) for your audio or video system.

Our three main types of vibration control platforms are:  IsoRock, Big Rock, and Air Mass.  Whenever possible, we recommend that a Little Rock pod be placed on top of the component.  Any one of these models, or any combination of two or more can be used with an audio or video component for enhanced performance.

Choosing the perfect Bright Star model is easy!  First decide which of your components you wish to improve.  We generally recommend starting with the source (CD player, DVD player, turntable, etc.) and then continue going down the line.  However, certain components, such as tube electronics or components close to speakers, are in greater need of proper vibration control than others.

SPEAKERS & SUBWOOFERS

GOOD - an IsoRock under the speaker or subwoofer.
GOOD - a Big Rock under the speaker or subwoofer.
BEST - a Big Rock under and a Little Rock on top of the speaker. You will be absolutely amazed with this combination on your subwoofer!!

WHAT SIZE?

You next want to measure the space (width and depth) available on your shelf.  Choose the largest Bright Star model that will fit comfortably there. When using a Little Rock remember not to cover the original vent holes on your component*.  You can also stack components between a platform and a Little Rock.  Even better, you can place one Little Rock pod between the components with another Little Rock on top.   You can also save on height by choosing a Gemini instead of a separate Air Mass and Big Rock, but if you have the room the separates will perform better.

*If your component runs very warm you can place any rigid spacer (such as pointed cones between the top of the component and the bottom of a Little Rock - with the points facing up) to allow for proper cooling.

WHY ALL THREE?
