Ultimate Isolation System ™
The Bright Star Isolation Series comprise the most effective vibration and resonance elimination systems available. Place a Little Rock on top of your CD player and experience a new dimension. Put a Big Rock platform under your turntable and let it revive your passion. Set your audio or video component between a Little Rock and Big Rock and place them atop the Air Mass pneumatic mount and achieve the patented Ultimate Isolation System!

The Little Rock mass loads the component’s top plate and impressively damps destructive stored energy. Little Rock 2 and Little Rock 3 additionally shield components from harmful EM (electro-magnetic) interference. Placing the Little Rock and the component on a Big Rock forces the unwanted resonance out and into the sand-filled base where it is absorbed. The Big Rock/Air Mass combination is extremely effective in protecting from air-borne and floor-borne vibrations. Improvements are realized in all areas! CHOOSING THE BEST
BRIGHT STAR MODEL
FOR YOUR SYSTEM

Bright Star Audio manufacturers the most comprehensive vibration control products in the industry and we have the perfect one (or more!) for your audio or video system.

Our three main types of vibration control products are: the Air Mass pneumatic mount, the Big Rock platform and the Little Rock pod (a Gemini isolation twin combines an Air Mass and Big Rock into a single model to save on required height). Any one of these, or any combination of two or (preferably) all three can be used with an audio or video component for enhanced performance. Choosing the perfect Bright Star model is easy! First decide which of your components you wish to isolate. We generally recommend starting with the source (CD player, DVD player, turntable, etc.) and continue to isolate going down the line. However, certain components, such as tube electronics, are in greater need of proper vibration control than others.

WHICH MODEL?

CD, DVD, LASERDISC PLAYERS, ETC:
GOOD – an Air Mass under the player.
BETTER – an Air Mass under and a Little Rock on top of the player.
BEST – an Air Mass/Big Rock/Little Rock Ultimate Isolation System.

TURNTABLES (with internal suspensions):

WHAT SIZE?

You next want to measure the space (width and depth) available on your shelf. Choose the largest Bright Star model that will fit comfortably there. If height is an issue, remember that you can save ¼" by removing the feet under any Big Rock or Little Rock, but don’t cover the original vent holes on your component*. You can also stack components between an Air Mass/Big Rock and a Little Rock. Even better, you can place a Little Rock 2 stacking pod between the components with another Little Rock on top. You can also save on height by choosing a Gemini instead of a separate Air Mass and Big Rock, but if you have the room the separates will perform better. When choosing a Big Rock, measure the spacing of your component’s feet and make sure they fit the "plinth size" of the Big Rock.

*If your component runs very warm you can place four pointed cones between the top of the component and the bottom of a Little Rock - with the points facing up - to allow for proper cooling.
